Hi there!

A picture of me

I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Bocconi Institute for Data Science and Analytics, affiliated with the Machine Learning & Statistical Physics and Computational Biology groups. My work sits at the intersection of AI and geometry: I study how modern Neural Networks, in particular Graph Neural Networks, learn under geometric and structural constraints. Additionally, I am researching the use of geometrically principled methods for learning and understanding RNA sequencing data. I earned my PhD in Computer Science from the University of Verona under Prof. Marco Cristani, and I was a J1 visiting scholar in the DSE Lab at Michigan State University with Prof. Jiliang Tang. Outside the lab, I make and listen to music, train, and watch (a lot of) anime. If you are interested in my research or wish to talk about something, you can find all of my contact information below.
